June 15, 2009 – School Sisters of Notre Dame Celebrate Jubilees
The Milwaukee Province honored sisters celebrating special anniversaries on June 15. The theme the jubilee celebration was taken from these challenging words of SSND's 22nd General Chapter: “Called to solidarity with all Creation, we are ready, personally and communally, to risk all we are and all we have for the sake of the mission of Jesus Christ.” Forty sisters of the Milwaukee Province marked anniversaries of their first profession of vows. They are among 200 jubilarian sisters in the United States and Canada who are celebrating 25, 50, 60, 70, 75, 80, and 85 years of consecrated life. To meet our Sister Jubilarians, click HERE.
