Storytellers Participate in TELLABRATION!
A Night of Storytelling for Grown-ups
Every November, at about the same time, thousands of people across the country and around the world gather in small towns and big cities to enjoy an evening of storytelling. This annual event is known as Tellabration! Since its beginning in 1988, it has grown into one of the most impressive collective events in the history of the modern storytelling revival. The lineup of tellers, from near and far, are all well versed in the art of telling stories by heart. Sister Jean-Andrew Dickmann is presenting “Imagination Cultivation for Education and Beyond.” The concert celebrates the oral tradition with a variety tales from humorous to heart-warming. For people who have never experienced a storytelling performance and those who are loyal fans of tales well told — this is an opportunity not to be missed!
