The School Sisters of Notre Dame (SSND) is an international community of women who have positively influenced the lives of millions since our 1833 founding by Mother Theresa of Jesus Gerhardinger in Bavaria, Germany. We have been in Wisconsin since 1850, when Mother Caroline Friess was put in charge of the North American Missions and established our motherhouse in Milwaukee. More >
